Our program curriculum is consistent with the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the most comprehensive accrediting body overseeing childcare, preschool, and before and after school programs. Gateway Academy integrates social skills training into the curriculum, on a daily, hourly, and by the minute basis. Teaching children to be able to communicate, negotiate, and express themselves clearly, to make good choices and to be able to ask for what they want is one of our main focuses. Childrens future success and well being rests on how effectively they can navigate through the many situations they will be faced with throughout life. Within Gateway Academy you will discover a growing group of active, happy babies, toddlers and children who are learning daily how to make friends and to be a friend.
