TEEN PARENT & CHILD EDUCATION CENTER provides child care for the infant and toddler children of adolescent parent students while the parents are attending school (or school-related activities, including Class Work Training). They also provide all nutrition for the children, other than formula or breast milk, through participation in the Child & Adult Care Food Program and access to on-site Well Baby Clinics and Immunizations with Visiting Nurses. Formal Parent Education classes are held every Wednesday after school until 4pm. Informal parent education is shared any time the parent enters the safe, individual and age-appropriate learning environment. The staff will connect and assist with paperwork related to outside child care and reimbursement programs through regional agencies. Child care is limited to 12 infants (non-walking) and 12 walking toddlers and infants ages 6 weeks to 30 months.
