Shepherd’s Flock
Shepherd’s Flock is a licensed intergenerational child care center. The service offers your child a total program for the mind, body, and spirit.
Shepherd’s Flock, established in 1997 in Arlington Heights, has provided children and their families year-round on the campus of the Lutheran Home.

Hours of operation: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This childc care center provides opportunities for children and adults to interact in a variety of activities. These activities could include on-site offerings, community events, and off-campus outings. There are many mutual benefits to these interactions. Classroom classification
- Angels – 6 weeks to 9 months
- Stars – 9 months to 18 months
- Lambs – 18 months to 2½ years
- Rainbow – 2½ years to 3½ years
- Sonshine – 3½ years to 5 years
Curriculum
Shepherd’s Flock encourages children to develop at their own individual pace. Our unique Christian program promotes a positive self-image in children. Specially created lesson plans incorporate spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
