Yolanda Edwards, President of Personal Touch Child Centers, has been in the child care business for over 20 years. Ms. Edwards resides in Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. She started in her home as a Family Childcare Provider. Utilizing her Performing Arts background, Ms. Edwards started a performing arts based summer camp and expanded to her first fulltime early learning center with her mother. In her eyes, childcare was beginning to become impersonal and she wanted to fill the gap with a high quality but more family friendly and personal environment that makes parents and children feel at home. Her services provide infant rooms which are more like home nurseries complete with nurturing themes and warm colorful decor to foster a babys development. Her toddlers and preschool rooms are age appropriate and in line with all early learning standards and ensures that all preschoolers are ready for school. Her centers participate in the Keystone and Delaware Stars programs. Ms. Edwards always had an extreme love for children which fosters her desire to provide children with progressively modern child care in a clean, comfortable and secure environment.
